High School (Grades 9-12)  (as of 4/4/20) 
 
-Teachers are providing educational opportunities through a variety of educational methods including handouts, online activities, Google Classroom, etc...
- Specific questions related to assignments should be directed to the teacher via email.
 
Students with internet access will continue to receive lessons and feedback from teachers through Google Classroom, Zoom, and email.  
 
Students with NO internet access will receive paper packets via mail.  Packets were mailed Friday, April 3rd.  The Daily Jeffersonian has allowed us to use newspaper stands as collection bins for the paper packets.  The bins will be placed in front of all buildings and are marked by grade where appropriate.  Teachers will contact students and parents by email, letter, Remind and phone. 
 
 
 
Middle School (Grades 6-8)  (as of 4/4/20) 
 
Teachers have posted assignments on Google Classroom and various other online communication platforms.  
- Students are expected to complete online assignments and returned electronically. 
- Those students without Internet were provided printed materials to complete and return when school resumes. 
- Specific questions related to assignments should be directed to the teacher via email.

**Sixth grade camp and Washington DC have been postponed as of right now. More information will be provided as it becomes available.** 
 
 
 
Larry Miller Intermediate (Grades 3-5) (as of 4/4/20) 
 
Paper instructional packets were mailed to all K-2 students Friday, April 3rd.  Teachers at this level will also remain in contact through the Remind app, letters, email, and phone.  We encourage students to read daily and practice math facts and sight words.  Completed work can be placed in the collection bins at the respective building where your child attends

Elementary (Grades K-2)  (as of 4/2/20)

Following the extended through May 1 order 

  • K-2 students will soon be receiving a packet in the mail with additional activities to be completed.
  • There will be drop boxes at each of the schools where completed packets can be returned.
  • In addition to the packets, teachers encourage students to read daily and to continue practicing math facts and sight words.
  • Teachers are in the process of reaching out to communicate with students through Email, Remind, Class Dojo or mailing letters to students.
  • Families are encouraged to reach out to their child's teacher if they have any questions . 
First 3 week Plan 
  • Students were given activities to practice during the time out of school. These activities include: books to read, journals, sight words and math facts to practice.  
  • Questions regarding the activities that were sent home should be directed to their child's teacher directly through email.
